Membership Criteria

GACF MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

To make this effort significant at global level, we would like to invite all interested community organizations to be members. In order to be a member of GACF you must be

• Organization of forest dependent groups contributing to the promotion of Community forestry and users group.

• Federation/Association/Networks of community organization(s) and

• Agree with GACF vision, mission, principles and objectives.

• Ratified by GACF board

Application requirements:

- Name of the organization

- Country/ Region

- Detailed address with the present contact details

- Performance Report is must

* In case you do not have an e-mail address or access to internet, please specify any mean of contact  with you like telephone or fax or name a supporting organization that you trust to be in contact with the GACF coordination.

- Legal recognition (under which law?)

*Attach your organization legal constitution (English, Spanish or French)

- Level of organization (local, regional, national, international)

- Activities of the organization (Report of last three years of activities)

- Number of members or community groups in your organization

- Area under management (forest and other natural resources)

- Why are you interested in being a member of the GACF?
